fREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why choose the Rome Half Marathon Adventure?
Half marathons can be fun, buuut running through the streets of Rome where Western civilization was born with thousands of other runners (some dressed in togas and others as gladiators) while also hiking beautiful mountains, biking through the countryside around a majestic lake all while staying at a 5-star Italian Villa with in house spa!!! Why wouldn’t you choose this trip?
What condition do I need to be in?
This is an intermediate-level trip, but can be customized to fit your group’s fitness level. The standard trip would require you to be comfortable running 13.2 miles, mountain biking 40 miles (flat) and hiking 10+ miles with 1,500’ – 2,000’ of elevation gain. Our goal is for you and your friends to be physically challenged, but mostly comfortable. We can also direct you toward various training programs if you need a little pre-trip boost.
What will we do when not running, biking, and hiking?
Resting, relaxing, and connecting—poolside or fireside. You’ll also be immersed in local Italian culture, including food, wine, and community.
What is the cancellation policy?
We’ve done our best to create a cancellation policy that balances flexibility with our advance costs. For more detailed information, contact us for a copy of our current Full Booking Terms & Conditions Policy.
