fREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why choose the Sagrantino Wine Trail Race Adventure?
Trail running is fun, buuuuut trail running through vineyards, wine cellars, and sipping wine along the trail in Umbria, Italy—while also hiking beautiful mountains & biking through the countryside, all while staying at a 5-star Italian Villa? Why wouldn’t you choose this trip?
What condition do I need to be in?
This is an intermediate-level trip but can be customized to fit your group’s fitness level. The standard trip requires comfort with running 8–10 miles, mountain biking 20+ miles, and hiking 10+ miles with 1,500–2,000 ft of elevation gain. Our goal is for you and your friends to be physically challenged—but mostly comfortable. We can also direct you toward various training programs if you need a little pre-trip boost.
What will we do when not running, biking, and hiking?
Resting, relaxing, and connecting—poolside or fireside. You’ll also be immersed in local Italian culture, including food, wine, and community.
What is the cancellation policy?
We’ve done our best to create a cancellation policy that balances flexibility with our advance costs. For more detailed information, contact us for a copy of our current Full Booking Terms & Conditions Policy.
